Trump reacts to impeachment trial during Davos press conference

President Trump spoke at a press conference before leaving the Davos Economic Forum Wednesday morning, saying he will leave the impeachment "to the Senate." He said he would like John Bolton to be interviewed but that it would be a national security problem if he was. Major Garrett reports on the breaking news.

Donald Trump meets Kim Jong Un and talks “new future” with North Korea

Donald Trump returns to Washington D.C. Sunday night, after wrapping up a five-day trip to Asia that included a big show of faith on the Korean peninsula. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, whom the president met at the DMZ, said the historic moment showed Mr. Trump’s willingness to "eliminate the unfortunate pass and open a new future." Weijia Jiang reports.

Iran shoots down American drone, further escalating tensions

Iran says it shot down an American drone, raising fears that a larger military conflict could break out in the Middle East. Details are in dispute, but U.S. officials confirm an Iranian missile downed a Triton drone. Iran claims it was a different model. The U.S. says the surveillance drone was flying over the Strait of Hormuz in international airspace. Charlie D'Agata reports.

Trump's attacks on late Sen. McCain met by silence at Ohio military tank factory

President Trump is refusing to tone down his attacks on the late Sen. John McCain despite growing pushback from fellow Republicans. In a five minute rant, the president criticized the Arizona Republican during a speech at an Ohio military tank factory Wednesday. His comments were met by silence from the audience, which included many military veterans. Paula Reid reports.
