No, Donald Trump and William Barr can’t prevent Robert Mueller’s report from becoming public
During his disastrous Senate confirmation hearings today, Donald Trump’s Attorney General nominee William Barr strongly implied that he’ll take Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, edit it to Trump’s liking, and then publish it as an “AG report.” This is about as corrupt as you can get, and it would in fact be felony obstruction of justice on Barr’s part. It’s also not something that can possibly work. Various House Democrats have already said that if Robert Mueller’s report isn’t made publi...
We’re now more than three weeks into Donald Trump’s pointless, absurd, and increasingly harmful government shutdown over his imaginary border wall. This comes even as we learn more details by the day about Trump’s status as a Russian spy, and the extent he’s gone to hide his espionage from everyone, including his own staff. Today the news broke that Donald Trump has no idea how to end the shutdown, and that it could last for several more weeks. Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu has been going after Donald Trump loudly and strongly from day one. The news prompted Lieu to drop a proverbial house o...

Even Fox News ends up bailing on Donald Trump’s psychotic border press conference
Donald Trump traveled all the way to the U.S.-Mexico border today, simply so he could hold a toothless press conference that ended up being as much of a snoozer as his Oval Office address. CNN and MSNBC treated the stunt like the non-event that it was, but Fox News at least tried to hang in there wi...

Angela Merkel Commented On Former President’s Legacy, This Would Make Trump Explode · US National News
Former President George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, passed away at the end of November, leaving the world in shock and mourning. After his death, fellow presidents and world leaders came forward to honor his life and legacy, and some have also used it as an opportunity to insult Donald Trump. Bush couldn’t have been a more different president than the one Trump is, and no one is afraid to say it. Even while he was at the G20 summit in Argentina, Trump was unable to escape...
Mexico’s new president just unveiled a new plan to help slow the flow of illegal immigration into the United States.
The San Diego Tribune reported that Mexico’s new, left-wing populist president is ringing in the new year with a dramatic economic plan for border communities aimed at attracting new investments and creating jobs that could potentially curb the influx of migrants into the United States.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced last Saturday what is called the Tax Incentive Decree for the Northern Border Region that will create a “free zone” along the border with the U.S that is 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) wide. It encompasses nearly 2,000 miles, all the way from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific coast.
For communities within the border strip, such as Tijuana, the Mexican government will:
reduce income taxes from 30 percent to 20 percent
slash the Value Added Tax for goods coming into the country from 16 percent to 8 percent
boost the minimum wage 100 percent to 176 pesos ($8.80), and
make fuel prices the same as those in the the U.S.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has unveiled a new plan to curtail illegal immigration to the United States by focusing on creating economic “free zones” along the U.S.-Mexico border.
López Obrador, a leftist, announced the Tax Incentive Decree for the Northern Border Region which will create free zones near the border that are over 15 miles wide and will reportedly encompass approximately 2,000 miles. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the free zones will:
reduce income taxes from 30 percent to 20 percent
slash the Value Added Tax for goods coming into the country from 16 percent to 8 percent
boost the minimum wage 100 percent to 176 pesos ($8.80), and
make fuel prices the same as those in the the U.S.
“It’s going to be the biggest free zone in the world,” Lopez Obrador said. “It is very important to project for winning investment, creating jobs and taking advantage of the economic strength of the United States.”
“Proponents of the president’s ‘free zone’ plan believe it would reduce the incentive for Mexicans to migrate to the U.S. and increase competition among local businesses,” Fox News reported. “But others fear that Mexican companies, attracted by low taxes, might move to the free zone and create an overall loss of tax revenue for the country as a whole.”
Following his election victory, Lopez Obrador was reportedly considering creating a border force to stop illegal immigration and stem the tide of drugs and illegal guns entering Mexico. Alfonso Durazo, Lopez Obrador’s future chief of public security, made the revelation in an interview with Bloomberg. “We’re going to create a border police force that will be highly specialized,” Durazo told Bloomberg. “They need to apply the law.”

Donald Trump: ‘Pray for Brett Kavanaugh and His Family!’
President Donald Trump continued defending Brett Kavanaugh, urging Americans on Tuesday night to pray for his nominee to the Supreme Court.
“Pray for Brett Kavanaugh and his family!” Trump wrote on Twitter, denouncing Democrats for trying to destroy Kavanaugh.
He again described Kavanaugh’s accusers as part of a Democrat plot and a “con game” to destroy his nominee to the Supreme Court.
“The Democrats are playing a high level CON GAME in their vicious effort to destroy a fine person,” he wrote. “It is called the politics of destruction. Behind the scene the Dems are laughing.”
Since Christine Blasey Ford first accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Trump has remained firmly behind his nominee and his family.
“His wife is devastated, his children are devastated. I don’t mean, ‘Oh gee, I am a little unhappy.’ They are devastated,” he said earlier on Tuesday. “And it is because of these Democrats.”
Trump added that the allegations, which are more than 30 years old, were “totally unsubstantiated,” and he warned that it would be a bad precedent for the United States Senate to block Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
“This is a high-quality person, and it would be a horrible insult to our country if this doesn’t happen,” he said. “And it’ll be a horrible, horrible thing for future political people.”
Trump has continued to highlight Kavanaugh’s qualifications for the Supreme Court, touting his great legal mind and character.
“They know it’s a con game. They know he’s high quality,” he said about the Democrats. “And they wink at each other. They’re winking. They know it’s a con game.”
The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear testimony from Ford about her allegations on Thursday — although it is unclear if she will testify.
A Senate vote to confirm Kavanaugh is scheduled for Friday:
