India loses contact with Chandrayaan-2 moon lander: What now? | DW News

India's Chandrayaan 2 mission set out in July to explore the uncharted territory of the lunar south pole. But shortly before the scheduled touchdown, the ISRO space center in Bangalore lost contact with the Vikram lander. Now mission control is trying to figure out whether the spacecraft crashed, or landed while no one was watching.
