The White House appears to have ‘doctored’ a map of Hurricane Dorian (with a scribble of black marker) to support an incorrect tweet about the storm from Trump.

On September 1, Trump went to Twitter again saying "In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!"
No official forecast from the National Hurricane Center showed Alabama in the path and a National Weather Service branch in AL challenged the claim.
FACT CHECK: Hurricane Dorian is not and was never projected to reach Alabama.
