THERESA May yesterday ruled out a second Scottish independence referendum “for a generation” in a withering slapdown to Nicola Sturgeon.
The Downing Street vow came just hours after the Scottish First Minister said it would be “inconceivable” for the PM to deny Scots a say given they voted to Remain in the EU.
