Fayçal Gouia, the Tunisian ambassador to the U.S., visited Arizona recently to speak to the state House of Representatives about the relationship between the two governments and the ways Arizona and Tunisia can work together to encourage tourism and educational partnerships while working together to combat international threats, such as terrorism. Gouia thanked Rep. Tony Rivero (R-21) for his hospitality and said he thinks Arizonans — and all Americans — should consider visiting Tunisia for its food, culture and natural beauty.
