The January 29th 2019 episode of SmackDown live certainly brought wwe fans a very unexpected and downright shocking moment when R Truth pinned Shinsuke Nakamura in surprising fashion to win his second ever united states championship. As expected, this title change came as a huge shock for most fans, and many are wondering why this random us title change occurred, and whether it was a botch or not. Well, according to our sources, this in fact was a bit of a botch, as Truth was apparently not booked to win the United States championship, at least not tonight on SmackDown. Shinsuke Nakamura was allegedly supposed to kick out of R truth's roll up pin, but Nakamura was just a split second too late and the referee decided to call for the bell. As some of you guys are aware, this type of a situation certainly isn't foreign to WWE, as there have been many times in the past where wrestlers were supposed to kick out of pins only to do so slightly too late making it look extremely awkward and bad on the referees part!
