I explain why Tuesday nights votes in the house of commons and the rejection of the Grieve and Cooper / Boles amendments, that that isn't the set back some people from the remain side think it is. That this is a process of elimination and the last things standing will be a no deal Brexit or a peoples vote.
I also explain why I believe parliament will table binding amendments on the 14th Feb to the government amendable motion that will then start the process of parliament taking control of the Brexit proceedings.
Theresa May will return from Brussels with no changes to the backstop in the withdrawal agreement, that covers the Irish border. She will then have to table a motion in the commons that will then be amended by parliament.
