It is, of course, offensive to progressive sensibilities to suggest that the Bible can be studied in schools even as an elective class. Many on the left are using President Trump’s support of such classes as an excuse to belittle his flubs on his biblical knowledge and shortcomings. What they are really afraid of is the bible.
